Project
Our Power Group upgraded both 5kV and 15kV switchgear to support the installation of a new gas turbine at the Twin Rivers Technologies fatty acid and biodiesel manufacturing facility in Quincy, Massachusetts. The scope of work also included the installation of a new motor control center, step-down transformers, and neutral ground reactors, as well as new building power, lighting, SCADA, and fire alarm systems.
Special Challenges
Coordination with the owner and National Grid in order to maintain uninterrupted power to the facility’s manufacturing processes.
