Legoland Discovery Center
Project
In this Design/Build project, we developed electrical installation plans based on the client’s generic design narrative and budget allowances. We coordinated and created drawings for multiple systems and utility services at the 75,000 square feet facility. The project required close coordination with the utility company to meet the retail facility’s power and alarm project requirements. Installation of 1200 amp secondary electrical service for a 2-story retail space.
Special Challenges
The project required close coordination with multiple base building contractors. Unique features included the installation of multiple amusement park rides, a 4D theatre, and specialty interactive gaming areas, each with electrical requirements and characteristics. The electrical fit-out was constructed as portions of the mall were still being built, presenting logistical and scheduling challenges that we were able to meet.
