As Division Manager of the Service Group at McDonald Electrical Corporation, Brian Bates brings over 19 years of experience in electrical construction, project management, and team leadership. A dedicated member of IBEW Local 103 for 15 years, Brian has advanced through every level of the trade, from Apprentice to Journeyman, Foreman, General Foreman, Service Supervisor, and now Division Manager—gaining a deep understanding of both field operations and strategic management.
Brian currently leads the Service Division in all aspects of operations, including managing service teams, overseeing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs, coordinating with clients, and implementing process improvements to ensure efficiency and safety. His hands-on experience in troubleshooting, project planning, and team development allows him to provide both technical guidance and operational leadership, ensuring high-quality electrical service delivery across a wide range of commercial, industrial and special projects.
