Chris Lombardi

Chris Lombardi headed MEC Power Group, the utility services division of McDonald Electrical from the power group inception through 2018. He is now still involved as a consultant for the company.  He has more than 40 years of utility construction experience, having served in a project management capacity, as a general foreman and superintendent for many diverse power generation projects throughout the region. His experience in utility construction projects cover a broad spectrum of work, including substation construction projects for National Grid, Eversource, and private utilities such as Reading Light, Peobody Light and Mansfield Light. Additionally, he completed many utility projects at Raytheon, Mystic, Harvard and Boston University. Highway infrastructure projects for MassDOT as well as many utility and runway projects at the Mass Port Authority from the mid-1970’s through today. Prior to joining MEC Power Group, Chris worked in senior project management, an outside superintendent, a general foreman as well as a journeyman electrician for several other well-established electrical contracting firms in the region.
